Seeking an innovative concept for his company, Michaël Azoulay took inspiration from his travels in the United States to launch a T-shirt line with a sportswear mood in 2005. American Vintage feminizes basic pieces for noble, essential items that are made to last. Each is a pure product that has a natural French chic.
Over the seasons, the collections have expanded and been reinforced by more fashion-oriented styles. Today the brand proposes a complete, multi-faceted wardrobe that plays on fashion codes and daring combinations of materials and details.
The brand launched its first men’s line in 2008, a sport line in 2016 and a homewear line in 2017.
