ADN PARIS / AGAIN / LAULHÈRE / PAUL & JOE
Elsewhere Called Home »is an introspective and rooted collection that exploresthe notion of sanctuary, as intimate as it is geographical. It’s an invitation to inhabitclothing as you would a safe place - with easeness, delicacy and confidence.
Designed for those who build their own territory, between two cities, two culturesor two temporalities, this collection offers an enveloping and understated wardrobe - a modular wardrobe inspired by the smooth transitions between seasons and spaces.Fabrics are natural and textured, chosen for their feel and their drape.
Shapes are softyet structured, cuts are clean yet relaxed, for an elegance that is discreet, present and never restrictive.« Elsewhere Called Home » is designed for modern urbanites faithful to a certain ideaof refinement. For people on the go, but who always know where they stand. Each pieceembodies a balance between fluidity and structure, past and present, intimate and public.Silhouettes are sharp, volumes comforting, and lines intentional. Here, clothing becomes adiscreet architecture, a way of inhabiting the world without being carried away by its rythm.
More than a collection, « Elsewhere Called Home » is a statement for a style that feelslived-in, a calm form of elegance, a return to the essential. Because sometimes, the placewe call home isn’t something we find. It’s something we build.
This SS26 collection is inspired by the delicate transition from spring to summer in the rural landscapes of Jura. Here, nature adorns itself with lush, abundant greenery, full and overflowing, offering a spectacle of colors and shapes. The worn farms and barns from the designer’s childhood blend with the industrial lines of peri-urban areas, forming a harmonious tableau that captures the essence of the Jura countryside.
As the sun grows stronger, the landscape blossoms into a sunlit fairy tale, with blooming fields and bright weather. The town of Arbois, the heartbeat of this region, adds a rustic and authentic touch to this universe, where dominant tones oscillate between warm grey, white, khaki, and pale pink. This collection captures the spirit of Jura in a suspended world where rustic rural beauty meets contemporary elegance.
Founded in 1838 at the foothills of the French Pyrenees by Lucien Laulhère, Maison Laulhère began manufacturing berets in 1840. Since then, we have never stopped producing this mythical object, the beret, which is the result of a unique ancestral heritage and a know-how which is now only held by a handful of passionate people.
Our ambition, is to carry on modernizing tirelessly the beret, and to put it in the foreground, year after year, while perpetuating this incalculable heritage, whose we are one the last guardians.
Paul & Joe celebrates 30 years of creation — a story that began with menswear in 1995. For this anniversary season, the Summer 2026 collection draws a gentle thread between memory and imagination, offering a wardrobe full of lightness, poetry, and quiet confidence. Inspired by 1920s–40s Japan: its ballet posters, symphonic invitations, and graceful visual language and by Britain from the 1960s to 1980s musical scene influence and its graphic charm, the collection weaves together two worlds that speak to a shared love of culture and expression. These references take shape through floral blossom prints, intarsia knits, and soft, figurative all-over patterns. Delicate bird embroideries bring a sense of movement and dreamlike escape, echoing the collection’s airy, almost surreal atmosphere. A house signature, English embroidery reappears on cotton voile shirts, offering a nod to Paul & Joe’s heritage and its enduring affection for craftsmanship.
