Aïdama is a Paris-based fashion label founded in 2022 by Joachim Meuleau. Built around a one-size philosophy, the brand develops oversized unisex garments designed to adapt to different body shapes rather than conform to a predefined standard. All collections are designed and produced in the Paris region using deadstock fabrics, reflecting a commitment to more responsible production. Influenced by traditional Asian garments and their relationship to movement, comfort and adaptability, Aïdama creates contemporary pieces intended to be worn across seasons and shared between individuals. The name Aïdama stems from the convergence of two Japanese concepts, Ma and Aïda. Ma refers to the space or interval between things, while Aïda expresses the idea of connection within that space. Together, they define a philosophy centered on relationships, inclusion and shared experience. This foundation informs a wardrobe that transcends fixed categories of gender or body type and is shaped by three principles: evolving pieces that accompany the passage of time, distinctive garments that reveal individual forms, and shareable clothing designed to be passed on and exchanged.
